Okay so what's going on in this scene:

Joyce has gone missing and our team: Indigo, North, and Skylar (Joyce and Skylar will be introduced later on) have received maps leading to where she might be.  North, with is ability to interpret most maps, charts, and figures, finds where the trail on the mysterious map leads.  This is great at first when they decide to head to location that is until the trail starts to strangely move and split into three different directions.  North didn't sign up for this kind of crazy, he good with maps but when they start changing out of nowhere, let's just say he's at a loss for words. They decide to split up the trails and go the investigate them with some help from a familiar face. (Elaenora, it's Elaenora. I'm terrible with surprises -.-)

to be continued...

So this was really fun to draw. His expression is what I'm the most happiest with. :D

EDIT~~~~
I was wondering why it looked darker than I planned it to be, it's fixed now, enjoy
:iconthehollster:
First off, I really love art pieces that are designed to look like they are from a movie or tv program. Great work on that, you got that feel spot on!
The colours are beautiful and go very well together. The only thing that I find a bit off is the character and background don't really fit. I feel as if he should be darker like his surroundings, or the background lighter like he is. But that's not too much of a bother, it just makes me focus of the character more.
There looks to be a strong idea behind it from what I read and see.
The whole movie scene style isn't something new, but I still don't see it very often.
Technique is perfect with the capture of it all and beautiful colouring.
And lastly, with just seeing the picture it does make me think and wonder what is going on by the expression on his face.

A great piece overall!
